La Baleine, which means "Whale" in English, was named after a group of rocks in the ocean below and after the whales that are sometimes spotted from the villa on their yearly migratory travels.
The villa has wonderful West Indian charm and is decorated in a mingling of colors and some unique antiques. The bedrooms are located in separate bungalows. The pool and jacuzzi (not heated) are surrounded by a wooden deck. Different areas outside for dining and relaxing or simply enjoying the evening sunsets that will make you never want to leave.
Delightful home with amazing views! Lots of great outdoor areas! We especially enjoyed the gazebo area. Loved the island! Don't what we can say original about the island but can concur that everything great you've read and heard is all true!
Absolutely spectacular. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking to travel to St Barth's.
We stayed at La Baleine for the first time in April, 2014 and loved it. Perfect location, sparkling clean house, great porch, and a perfectly-sized pool for after the beach. We already booked it again for next April.
Great house/great location! Thanks Travel Keys! You did it once again!
