Though the ultra-spacious villa has been designed to provide almost-omnipresent ocean views, the best vantage point might be its free-form pool and elevated, multi-person hot tub. A speaker system, barbecue, wet bar and nearby fridge make it easy to spend fun-filled group days out here as trade winds keep everyone cool.
Should you need a break from the sun, there are tables and chairs under Greek-style pillars and on the seemingly-endless wrap-around, balconied decks. Alternatively, hang out in the vaulted, open-plan ‘great room’, playing board games, watching DVDs or chatting to whoever’s utilising the gourmet kitchen while sitting beside a counter island. On the same upper level are three master bedrooms with a fourth twin bedroom downstairs, ideal for any children in the group. All are air-conditioned and all boast outdoor access delivering – you guessed it – sea views.
You’re a five-minute drive from Cruz Bay’s bright lights, with the North Shore’s pristine white coves, trails and watersports only a little further afield.
Our stay at Sea Forever was great. The property is really lovely, and it worked out well for our group of two couples and three singles. I've stayed in houses and apartments all over the world and this was one of the best. My only suggestion for the house is that one more high table and maybe five more high chairs be added to the deck right outside the sliding glass doors. This was where we sat for all meals, and it was a little awkward to have some people sitting on the high chairs, and some on the low chairs. You will need an SUV/jeep to stay here. People in our party quickly got used to the steep drive up to the house. It's a quick 5-minute drive to Cruz Bay for groceries/restaurants/shopping, and it wasn't a hassle at all to drive to the beautiful beaches. The pool is a perfect size for a group and was great for hanging out and relaxing. The views are amazing.
This house was great for our group of adult friends. Pool and spa are top notch. Kitchen and main living area are updated and comfortable. Bedrooms are private and each have their own bathroom. There are two outdoor showers which are a nice feature as well. The house's beach chairs, coolers and laundry machines were very helpful. Driveway is challenging with two cars and drive to the house on the hill takes some getting use to with its sharp turns. One of the downstairs bedrooms is still a bit musty but the dehumidifier provided gave some relief. If you plan to sleep with the windows open bring some sort of bug spray. We all got eaten alive by the no-seeums. Location is easy into Cruz Bay, about 10 minutes. About 20 minutes to Trunk Bay and 45 minutes to Coral Bay.

This was our 3rd time to St John but we were hooked before. This was a beautiful and very accommodating house for all of us (3 couples). Kitchen well equipped, home well furnished. Also appreciated the follow up call from Jason towards the end of our stay to make sure our stay was a good one. Great job by all and can't wait for our next visit to that beautiful island! Thanks all!
My family and I traveled to St John with a friend and her family so we had 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 7. Sea Forever was the perfect villa for our needs. The only draw backs were each room could be entered from outside so the kids were in a room we weren't attached to. The living room was hot in the afternoons since there are no window coverings. Other than that, the place is perfect, the views are gorgeous and the villa is beautifully furnished and well stocked. The hot tub and pool were awesome to relax in after a long day at the beach. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. We will definitely consider Sea Forever if we are with a large enough group to require it.
After combing through villas online and photos, we settled on Sea Forever. It was much more beautiful than the pictures. Pretty, private, with perfect sunsets, we think about our stay there on a regular basis. We will return!
We have rented houses on St. John many, many times.... If there is ever a problem the agency try very hard to resolve any issues you may have. We have often stayed in the Chocolate Hole area and like the location. It's pretty quiet and away from the town, but while it is some distance to restaurants and beaches, the drives to them are not unpleasantly long. If you are driving on St. John you need to accept that you will be going up very steep roads and we are used to that. The house is lovely with a wonderful deck and view, and lots of interesting iguana neighbors in the trees. Master bedroom is superb (where we spent the 2nd week). Downstairs bedrooms: one was smelly and stuffy, one was barely o.k. though it did have a good air conditioner (where we spent the first week). (We just don't like downstairs rooms as they are not airy. But SOME folk might not mind.) Kitchen and living room and terrace very nice and comfy with excellent amenities. Appreciated the ipod receptacle and the washer & dryer. We didn't use the pool much, but it was fine. House was lacking flashlights and matches and candles, which could be vital as St. J is prone to power outages. We could have used a little more shade on deck, pool, patio area, but I guess that's how it is in the Carib & one shouldn't whine about too much sun. The hot tub needs a stool - very difficult to get in and out. Plus instructions/suggestions for temp. level and how to stop it constantly heating would have been appreciated. The driveway/parking area was very tight and getting the car turned around each day to leave took a couple of people directing the driver. But after a while we could do it fairly easily. Despite my complaints, I would definitely return to this rental. After 2 weeks it felt like home and I really didn't want to leave.
We stayed at the Sea Forever Villa in May 2009. It was very clean, comfortable and handled 6 people very well. The view is amazing and it's very private but not far from town. I would stay here again.
We had 3 couples, and the villa was perfect for that size group. The bedroom/bathroom facilities are nothing special--but clean and comfortable. But the main room and pool area are GREAT! The views are GREAT! And the proximity to town is GREAT! You'll love it.
We go to ST John every year and love to stay at chocolate hole. Sea Forever has the best view of any and this is the second time. We love the island and the people. The couple that helped us were fantastic. Thanks for heaven.
