The pictures do not do this villa justice!!! Over the years we have done some extensive traveling and never have we stayed in a place so beautiful and inviting. This was a surprise trip for my mom to celebrate her upcoming 65th birthday, man was she impressed. We traveled with our 2 young toddler girls. I have never felt so safe while traveling abroad. The community, the people, and the entire island was very safe and hospitable. The very private Taylor Bay Beach, which is literally a stone's throw away, was a nice short walk from the villa. The sand was a soft beautiful white, the water crystal clear, you could walk out at least a 1/4 mile without getting deep. It was perfect for our two little girls to play in the sand and surf, without worrying of any dangers. The Villa itself sits atop a hillside with an amazing 360 panoramic view, whether you look at Chalk Sound or the glorious Taylor Bay/ocean, which can best be seen from their rooftop sunning deck. Again, even with pictures, its hard to bring the experience home with you. The layout of the villa is tastefully decorated and very spacious, the bedrooms were large each with its own ensuite (all recently renovated). The cleanliness of the villa was superb. The kitchen had full amenities, as well as a BBQ and you didn't want for anything (except to never leave). As much as you would enjoy the comforts inside the home, you want to spend most of your time poolside. The pool itself was refreshing and while sitting on the deck enjoying a beverage, you just couldn't help but to enjoy the breathtaking view. We were fortunate as we rented a vehicle so that we could see all of the island while there, but we were always anxious to get back to Villa Jasmine, as it was HOME to us.
This my third visit to the Turks & Caicos and my second time staying at Villa Jasmine. My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful island on our honeymoon and in 2011 we decided to go back with a group of friends. Staying at this villa was one of the best decisions we ever made and last month our group decided to break from the winter and enjoy another week at this tropical paradise. Villa Jasmine brings the amenities of home to a tropical paradise. All four bedrooms are large with their own bathrooms which were just fully renovated. The kitchen and living areas are fantastic but you'll want to spend most of your time outside enjoying the fabulous views and relaxing outdoors at the patios of this Spanish style villa. Taylor Bay beach is about a minute walk from the Villa. The beach is absolutely breath-taking with white sand beaches and beautiful turquoise-blue water. The water is warm, calm and shallow and perfect for children of all ages and anyone who enjoys a quiet peaceful day on a secluded beach. Villa Jasmine comes equipped with towels, coolers, chairs and other beach gear to make your day at the beach truly perfect. I've been to other beaches on the island and quite frankly throughout the Caribbean and I've yet to see a beach that comes close to this. After a day on the beach, it's great to head back to the villa, enjoy a cold drink and take a dip in the pool as you watch the most beautiful sunset imaginable. There's also two tennis courts to use about 20 seconds from the villa and renting a car is a great idea for seeing the rest of the island. The only negative I had about both of my stays there is that we had to leave. We only returned a few weeks ago but our group is already discussing another visit.
The layout of the Villa was unique, Mediterranean in style, very classic, spacious and the bedrooms were located for privacy (we had our two children with us). The pool is central to the walkout patio and the tiles are actually fossilized stone. It was indicative of the general high standard of construction for the entire place. The villa is quiet, serene and private. I have never relaxed more anywhere I've been. We had a rental car and we traveled throughout the island, interesting and very much geared to tourists, but it didn't stop us from accessing more local themes. We had a marvelous time. Whenever we discuss vacations it is always our time at Villa Jasmine we remember first. I honestly cannot think of a negative (I even took the minute to go ask my wife and all she said was, 'not long enough'). We never return to a place twice, but if we ever considered it - it would be Villa Jasmine.
